Our New Gallery is NOW OPEN!

Our new gallery is a forum based Photo Gallery where our members can register for a free account, upload their own images, videos and documents.

Please note that the gallery is still being updated from our old gallery, and while all the images have been added the details/comments are still outstanding and are being added as an on-going process!

  • If you are submitting an image to the EAAS Gallery, please visit our Art-Subs page for guidelines.
  • If you need help with taking astronomical photographs, then check out our Hints and Tips.
  • If you have any questions regarding the gallery then please email Philip Matchett here.

Calibrate your monitor so that you can see all the shades below. Begin by doing a full reset of your monitor, if there is one, or recalling the default settings. Set your colour temperature to 6500K and then adjust your brightness and then contrast, so that all the shades of grey are just viewable below. If you have the option, set your gamma to 2.2. Depending on the quality of your monitor, you may not be able to see the very extreme black/grey changes or grey/white changes.
