Christopher is only 10 years old and is already taking excellent images of the moon and planets. Keep up the good work, Chris. Summer Sun
Every time we brought the scope out to catch this image the sun would go away. Eventually we got it. First Sunspots
My dad and I bought some solar film and made a filter. We tried it out today and got our first picture of a sunspot. Great work Christopher and Ralph (Dad). A fantastic first image and a great test for your solar filter and the Venus transit. Sunspots 618 captured excellently. I got a photo of the moon with my webcam. I took it on 25th April 2004 at about 9 o'clock. Dad helped me with the computer bit. I also got one of Jupiter but it's not that good. The moon was taken with a Phillips TouCam Pro through a Celestron Nexstar 114.
