Not long after the Sun had set there was a faint sun pillar which wasn't to bright at all. About 10mins later I looked out of the window and seen this massive red pillar which reached 15degrees from the horizon. It was very thick and just kept growing in size, so I ran and grapped the camera and took these shots.

This is truly a once in a lifetime capture, Conor, and just shows how your dedication to daily observing of the sky brings results.
